Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park

Hluhluwe
Hluhluwe is dominated by hilly topography ranging from 80m to 540m in altitude. As a result it is made up of coastal scrap forest on the ridges and bushveld in the valleys. Accommodation in this section is located at Hilltop Camp and is chalets with a restaurant and bar. It is not uncommon to see bush babies running around the camp at night.

Imfolozi
The southern section of the park is primarily made up of grasslands which extend into acacia savannah and woodlands. Situated between the Black and White Imfolozi Rivers, the park is relatively flat with a few valleys and hills. The accommodation available is Tented Bush Camps and Chalets. Spotted hyena are regularly seen stalking the shadows waiting for the right moment to steal some meat off the braai stand.
